You’ll see me as I am - no fancy therapist here. I’ll probably be in sweatpants to workout gear with my hair all tousled because that’s when I’m most comfortable. Authenticity is key. I’m imperfect, and I don’t expect you to be either. Our messiness is what makes us human. So, if you’re looking for someone who’s not afraid of being themselves, I’m your girl.
I’m a mom, a recovering workaholic and a perfectionist, somebody with high-functioning anxiety. I’m a bold advocate for people’s authenticity and deeply care for others and my community. I have my own experiences, pain, struggles, and wisdom, and they all intertwine to make me who I am today. I’m real, just like you.
I’m a social worker with over 13 years of experience working in diverse settings, specializing in nervous system approaches to therapy, including EMDR, somatics, and polyvagal theory. I believe that our past deeply influences our present. When experiences or memories overwhelm us and are not effectively processed—especially when we lack the comfort and attunement we need after such events—they can continue to shape our present lives, contributing to emotional and physical symptoms.
Healing is not just about changing our thoughts; it’s about getting our bodies on board as well. I use attachment theory and neurodevelopmental approaches to fully understand the individual in front of me and why they are showing up as they are today.
Three years ago, I shifted my focus to working more closely with women. I noticed a recurring pattern among those who came to me: burnout, over-giving, and prioritizing others to the point of neglecting themselves. Many struggled with guilt over self-care, feelings of powerlessness, and a lack of assertiveness. They often distracted themselves, moving further away from the person they truly wanted to be.
I want women to recognize all the ways they guard themselves or engage in behaviors that pull them away from who they truly are and who they want to be. My goal is to guide them back to their core, their values, and their true authenticity. By reconnecting with themselves, they can begin to live a more fulfilled, peaceful, and liberated life—one that is aligned with their deepest desires and true sense of freedom.
I’m passionate about working with women tired of constantly feeling on the verge of burnout. Women who are driven by high-functioning anxiety and the pursuit of productivity, efficiency, and high achievement.
Together, we will take small steps to break free from those patterns that lead to burnout and dissatisfaction. We will teach your system to hit the breaks, take a breath, and know it’s okay to slow down and be present.
